MOSS STITCH:
ROW/ROUND 1: * Knit 1, purl 1 *, work from *-*.
ROW/ROUND 2: Knit over purl and purl over knit. Repeat row/round 2.

HAT:
The piece is worked in the round with double pointed needles. Cast on (68) 80-92-96-104 (112-116) stitches with double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and light grey. Work rib (= knit 2 / purl 2) for (2) 2-3-3-3 (4-4) cm. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm and knit 1 round AT THE SAME TIME as you decrease 8 stitches evenly on round = (60) 72-84-88-96 (104-108) stitches. Work stocking stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the piece measures (3) 3-4-4-4 (5-5) cm, change to yellow. Knit 1 round, purl 1 round, then work MOSS STITCH – see description above, until the piece measures approx. (4½) 4½-5½-5½-5½ (6½-6½) cm. Purl 1 round and knit 1 round. Change to light grey and work stocking stitch. When the piece measures (10) 11-12-13-14 (14-15) cm, insert (6) 8-7-8-8 (8-9) markers in the piece with (10) 9-12-11-12-13-12 stitches between each. On the next round decrease 1 stitch after each marker by knitting the first 2 stitches together after each marker (= (6) 8-7-8-8 (8-9) stitches decreased). Decrease like this every 2nd round a total of (6) 6-6-6-6 (7-7) times = (24) 24-42-40-48 (48-45) stitches.
On the next round knit all stitches together 2 and 2 = (12) 12-21-20-24 (24-23) stitches.

SIZES 1/3 - 6/9 -12/18 MONTHS (2 - 3/4) YEARS:
Knit 1 round. Knit all stitches together 2 and 2 = 11-10-12 (12-12) stitches.

ALL SIZES:
Pull a double strand through the remaining stitches, pull tight and fasten well. The hat measures approx. (14) 15-16-17-18 (19-20) cm.

BOW:
Cast on 12 stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and yellow. Work moss stitch back and forth until the piece measures approx. 8 cm. Cast off. Wind a yellow strand 6 times around the middle of the bow to make a band. Fasten the bow to the yellow section on the hat.

MITTENS:
The 3 larger sizes are worked with thumbs, the 2 smaller sizes without thumbs.
Cast on 44-48-52 (56-60) stitches with double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and light grey. Knit 1 round. Work rib (= knit 2 /purl 2) for 2-2-3 (4-4) cm. Change to double pointed needles size 3 mm. Then knit 1 round AT THE SAME TIME as you decrease 8-10-10 (10-10) stitches evenly on round = 36-38-42 (46-50) stitches. Continue in stocking stitch. When the piece measures 3-3-4 (6-7) cm, change to yellow, knit 1 round and purl 1 round. Then work MOSS STITCH – see description above, until the piece measures approx. 4½-4½ -6 (8-9) cm. Purl 1 round and knit 1 round. Change back to light grey and continue in stocking stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!

SIZES 12/18 MONTHS (2 - 3/4) YEARS:
When the piece measures 7 (9-11) cm place the 5 (6-6) last stitches on the round on 1 thread for the thumb. Cast on 5 (6-6) new stitches over these stitches on the next round.

ALL SIZES:
When the piece measures 8-11-13 (14-15) cm, decrease 0-2-0 (4-2) stitches evenly on round = 36-36-42 (42-48) stitches (there are now approx. 2 cm left to finished length).
Continue with stocking stitch and decrease as follows:
ROUND 1: * Knit 4 stitches, knit 2 together (= 1 stitch decreased) *, work from *-* to end of round = 30-30-35 (35-40) stitches.
ROUND 2: Work stocking stitch.
ROUND 3: * Knit 3 stitches, knit 2 together (= 1 stitch decreased) *, work from *-* to end of round = 24-24-28 (28-32) stitches.
ROUND 4: Work stocking stitch.
ROUND 5: * Knit 2 stitches, knit 2 together (= 1 stitch decreased) *, work from *-* to end of round = 18-18-21 (21-24) stitches.
ROUND 6: Work stocking stitch.
ROUND 7: Knit all stitches together 2 and 2 until there is 0-0-1 (1-0) stitch left, knit 0-0-1 (1-0) stitch = 9-9-11 (11-12) stitches.

SIZES 12/18 MONTHS (2 - 3/4) YEARS:
ROUND 8: Knit all stitches together 2 and 2 until there is 1 (1-0) stitch left, knit 1 (1-0) stitch = 6 (6-6) stitches.

ALL SIZES:
Cut the strand and pull it through the remaining stitches, pull tight and fasten well. The mitten measures 10-13-15 (16-17) cm.

THUMB FOR SIZES 12/18 MONTHS (2 - 3/4) YEARS:
Place the stitches from the thread back on double pointed needles size 3 mm and knit up 1 stitch in each stitch cast on over the thumb (= 10 (12 - 12) stitches. Work stocking stitch for approx. 3 (3½ - 4) cm and then knit all stitches together 2 and 2 on the next 2 rounds. Cut the strand and pull it through the remaining stitches, pull tight and fasten well.
Work 1 more mitten in the same way but with the thumb stitches at the beginning of the round (instead of at the end) in the 3 larger sizes.

BOW:
Cast on 9-10-12 (14-14) stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and yellow. Work moss stitch until the piece measures approx. 6-6-7 (8-8) cm. Cast off. Wind a yellow strand 6 times around the middle of the bow, to make a band. Fasten the bow to the yellow section on the mitten. Work 1 more bow and fasten in the same way on the other mitten.

DECREASE TIP:
Decrease as follows before the marker: Start 2 stitches before the marker and knit 2 together. 
Decrease as follows after the marker: Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch.

HEEL DECREASE:
ROW 1 (= right side): Work until there are (5) 6-6-6 (7-8) stitches left, slip the next stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over the stitch worked, turn the piece.
ROW 2 (= wrong side): Work until there are (5) 6-6-6 (7-8) stitches left, slip the next stitch as if to purl, purl 1, pass the slipped stitch over the stitch worked, turn the piece.
ROW 3: Work until there are (4) 5-5-5 (6-7) stitches left, slip the next stitch as if to knit, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over the stitch worked, turn the piece.
ROW 4: Work until there are (4) 5-5-5 (6-7) stitches left, slip the next stitch as if to purl, purl 1, pass the slipped stitch over the stitch worked, turn the piece. 
Continue to decrease like this, by working until there is 1 less stitch left before slipping the next stitch, until there are (6) 8-10-10 (10-12) stitches left on the needle.

SOCK:
The piece is worked in the round.
Cast on (40) 50-50-50-(60-60) stitches with double pointed needles size 2.5 mm and BabyMerino. Work 1 round stocking stitch, then work A.1 (= (10) 10-10-10 (12-12) stitches). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!
When the piece measures (5) 7-8-8 (9-9) cm work 1 round stocking stitch AT THE SAME TIME as you decrease (8) 14-10-10 (16-12) stitches evenly on round = (32) 36-40-40 (44-48) stitches. Now keep the first (16) 18-20-20 (22-26) stitches on the needle for heel and the remaining (16) 18-20-20 (22-22) stitches are placed on 1 thread (= top of foot). Work stocking stitch back and forth over the heel stitches for (3) 3-3½-4 (4-4½) cm – insert 1 marker. Now work HEEL DECREASE - see description above! Then knit up (7) 8-9-10 (10-11) stitches on each side of the heel and the stitches from the thread (top of foot) are placed back on the needles, insert 1 marker thread on each side of the stitches on top of foot = (36) 42-48-50 (52-56) stitches. Continue in the round with stocking stitch. 
AT THE SAME TIME on round 1, decrease 1 stitch before the (16) 18-20-20 (22-22) stitches on top of foot and decrease 1 stitch after the (16) 18-20-20 (22-22) stitches on top of foot – read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 2nd round a total of (2) 3-6-7 (5-7) times = (32) 36-36-36 (42-42) stitches. Continue until the sock measures (6) 8-9-10 (12-14) cm from the heel marker. Now insert 1 new marker in each side of the sock (= (16) 18-18-18 (21-21) stitches between each marker = on top of and under the sock). Continue by decreasing 1 stitch on each side of each marker (= 4 stitches decreased). Decrease like this every round a total of (6) 7-7-7 (8-8) times = (8) 8-8-8 (10-10) stitches left on needle, cut the strand and pull it through the remaining stitches, pull tight and fasten well. The sock measures approx. (8) 10-11-12 (14-16) cm. Work 1 more sock in the same way.

Work A.1a (= 12 stitches) over all stitches (= 6-7-7-8 (8-9) times in width). When A.1a has been completed 1 time in height, work A.1b over A.1a. Continue like this. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the piece measures approx, 10-11-12-12 (12-13) cm, adjust to after a whole repeat of A.1b in height, work A.2 over A.1b (there are now approx. 4-4-4-5 (5-5) cm left). When A.2 has been worked 1 time in height, there are 24-28-28-32 (32-36) stitches on the needles. Knit together all stitches 2 and 2 on the next 2 rounds (= a total of 2 times) = 6-7-7-8 (8-9) stitches. Cut the strand and pull it through the remaining stitches. Pull tight and fasten well. The hat measures approx. 14-15-16-17 (17-18) cm.

ROW 2 (= wrong side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, work 3 stitches garter stitch, A.1 over the next 29 stitches, work 3 stitches garter stitch, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 2 stitches increased) = 41 stitches.
ROW 3 (= right side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, work garter stitch to A.1, 1 yarn over, A.1 over the next 29 stitches, 1 yarn over, work garter stitch until there are 2 stitches left, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 4 stitches increased). 
ROW 4 (= wrong side): 2 edge stitches in garter stitch, 1 yarn over, work garter stitch to A.1, A.1 over the next 29 stitches, work garter stitch until there are 2 stitches left, 1 yarn over and finish with 2 edge stitches in garter stitch (= 2 stitches increased). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION!

Repeat rows 3 and 4 until the piece measures approx. 11-13 cm measured along the purled stitches in A.1 (i.e. increase 1 stitch in each side of the piece inside 2 edge stitches on each row and in addition 1 stitch on each side of A.1 on each row from the right side), adjust so that you finish with the 3rd row in A.1. Work 2 ridges over all stitches. Cast off.
Fasten a button on the one side of the bib (the button is buttoned through 1 of the holes inside the 2 edge stitches in garter stitch).
