When piece measures 3-5-6-9-10 cm (adjust so that next row is worked from RS), dec 1 st inside picot edge at beg of row - READ DECREASE TIP. Repeat dec every cm 24-24-27-28-29 more times. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION
AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 17-20-23-26-27 cm cast on new sts at the end of row towards the side of sleeve as follows: 5-4-4-4-4 sts 5-7-9-9-11 times in total and then 25-28-27-30-28 sts 1 time. After all inc and dec there are 69-77-85-89-96 sts on the needle for shoulder/sleeve.
Continue in garter st until piece measures 30-34-38-42-44 cm. Insert 1 marker = mid on top of shoulder. Continue to work until piece measures 2 cm from the marker, finish with 1 row K from WS. Put all sts on a stitch holder.
LEFT FRONT PIECE:
Cast on and work as right but reversed i.e. dec for neck inside picot edge at the end of row from RS (instead of at the beg of row from RS).
BACK PIECE:
Work left front piece on to circular needle (= K from RS), cast on 16-16-18-18-20 new sts (= back of neck) and work right front piece on to circular needle (= K from RS) = 154-170-188-196-212 sts.
NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM MARKERS ON SHOULDERS.
Continue to work in garter st back and forth on needle.
When piece measures 9-9-9-10-10 cm, cast off sleeve sts as follows: Cast off at beg of every row in each side as follows: 25-28-27-30-28 sts 1 time and 5-4-4-4-4 sts 5-7-9-9-11 times = 54-58-62-64-68 sts on needle. Continue until piece measures approx. 30-34-38-42-44 cm – fold piece at the markers on shoulders and check that front and back pieces are the same length – loosely cast off.
ASSEMBLY:
Sew side and sleeve seams tog edge to edge in front loop of outermost sts.
TIES:
Where dec for neck on right front piece beg work a tie as follows, work with 1 strand of each quality with crochet hook size 5 mm. 1 dc at the tip, then work ch for 20-25 cm, turn and work 1 sl st in every ch. Work a tie the same way on the outside of seam in the left side - make sure that tie is in the same height as on front piece. Then work another tie on the inside of the seam in the right side and another one where dec for neck starts on the left front piece – make sure that all of the ties are at the same height.

Cast on 8 sts with 1 strand BabyAlpaca Silk and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands) and divide them on 4 double pointed needles size 5 mm (= 2 sts on per needle). Work according to A.1 (= 8 repetitions of A.1 in width). When the first 15-15-19-19 rounds in A.1 have been worked, displace beg of round 1 st towards the left first on every other round, then every 4th round – i.e. beg of round is always before first YO in diagram so make it less visible. Beg of round at the end will be in middle of the first repetition of A.1. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Switch to circular needle when needed. When A.1 has been worked one time vertically = 144-144-176-176 sts on round and piece measures approx. 22-22-28-28 cm in diameter. Insert 8 markers in piece, insert 1st marker in 1st st on round, then insert 7 markers 17-17-21-21 sts apart, markers are directly over tip on each leaf. Work in GARTER ST - see explanation above, AT THE SAME TIME on first round inc 1 st on each side of markers. Inc with 1 YO on each side of sts with marker – on next round P YO twisted to avoid holes = 16 inc sts per round. Inc like this every other round a total of 1-2-1-2 times = 160-176-192-208 sts. Continue in garter st until piece measures 26-28-32-34 cm in diameter.
On next round K, AT THE SAME TIME cast off all sts between 2nd and 3rd marker and 7th and 8th marker + 1 st on each side of marker for armholes (= cast off 23-25-27-29 sts in each side). P next round, AT THE SAME TIME cast on 23-25-27-29 new (loose) sts over the cast off sts between 2nd and 3rd marker and 7th and 8th marker. When all sts are cast on again, there are 160-176-192-208 sts on needle.
Then work as follows: Work A.2 over all sts, AT THE SAME TIME inc 1 st on each side of sts with marker on every round with star (= 16 sts per inc round). Work A.2 2 times vertically = 288-304-320-336 sts. Piece measures approx. 56-58-62-64 cm in diameter.
LEFT FRONT PIECE:
Then work as follows: Keep sts between 2nd and 4th marker on needle, slip the remaining sts on a stitch holder = 72-76-80-84 sts on needle. Work in GARTER ST - see explanation above - back and forth over these sts, AT THE SAME TIME at the end of every row slip the last 2 sts on stitch holder (do not work them, turn). Приколоть все детали и отпарить. Пришить рукава к корпусу через реглан, более длинная часть относится к спине. Пришить 2 см от края резинки (рукавов) на уровне цветных нитей спины и половин передов. Сшить боковые швы. Закрыть дно капюшона (от А до В) и пришить вокруг горловины делая соединяя точки В и С капюшона с такими же точками спины и половин переда.
Изготовить петельку на краю горловины. Пришить пуговицу.

SIZE 7/8 YEARS:
ROUND 8: Work * 1 htr in each of the next 6 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 64 htr.
ROUND 9: Work 1 htr in every htr BUT at the same time inc 4 htr evenly on round = 68 htr.
SIZE 9/10 YEARS:
ROUND 8: Work * 1 htr in each of the next 6 htr, 2 htr in next htr *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 64 htr.
ROUND 9: Work 1 htr in every htr BUT at the same time inc 6 htr evenly on round = 70 htr.
There are 56-58-62-64-66-68-70 htr on round. Then work 1 htr in every htr for 2 more rounds, switch to light grey and work 1 more round. Then switch to white and work same way until piece measures 16-16-17-18-19-20-20 cm. Insert 2 markers in piece from RS. Insert first marker in 6th-7th-7th-8th-8th-7th-8th htr from beg of round, second marker in 37th-38th-42nd-43rd-45th-46th-47th htr from beg of round. Fasten off.
EAR FLAP:
Beg by working from RS at one of the markers. Use crochet hook size 5 mm and white.
ROW 1: Work 13-14-15-15-15-17-17 htr. Turn piece.
ROW 2: Work 2 ch, WORK 2 HTR TOG - see explanation above, work htr until 2 htr remain and work these tog. 11-12-13-13-13-15-15 htr. Turn piece.
Repeat 2nd row, there will be 2 htr less on every row. Repeat until only 2 ch and 2 htr remain. Then work the 2 htr tog, fasten off.
Work another ear flap the same way, beg from the other marker.
EDGE:
Work an edge around the hat with white. Use hook size 5 mm and beg mid back (beg of round on hat). Work 1 dc in every htr until ear flap, work * 1 dc, 1 ch and skip approx. 1 cm *, repeat from *-* around the entire ear flap. Work 1 dc in every htr until other ear flap and work the other ear flap as first. Finish by working 1 dc in every htr on the edge at the back until beg of round and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round. Fasten off.
POMPOM:
Make a pompom with light grey with an approx. diameter of 4 cm. Sew the pompom on the top of the hat.
DECORATION:
EYES:
Use some left-over black and hook size 5 mm.
Work 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 2 ch, 8 htr in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in second ch from beg of round. Cut the yarn, but leave approx. 10 cm - this is used for assembly.
Work another eye the same way.
NOSE:
Use some left-over orange and hook size 5 mm.
Work 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: READ CROCHET INFO-2! Work 4 dc in ch-ring.
ROUND 2: Work 2 dc in every dc the entire round = 8 dc.
ROUND 3: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
ROUND 4: Work 1 dc in first dc, * 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc *, repeat from *-* 2 times in total, work 2 dc in next dc = 11 dc.
ROUND 5-6: Work 1 dc in every dc the entire round.
Cut the yarn, but leave approx. 20 cm - this is used for assembly.
